At Be My Eyes, we absolutely love podcasts. So much that last year, we actually launched our own, which has just returned for season 2. We’ve also expanded our podcast family with the addition of the accessibility podcast 13 Letters.
There are so many amazing podcasts out there dealing with everything blindness related, and we’ve collected our favorites! What is your favorite podcast?
The Blind Abilities Podcast was originally created to help blind students transition into college, but has since evolved into a podcast concerned with everything blindness related. They work from the belief that: “When we share what we see through each other’s eyes, we can then bridge the Gap between the limited expectations and the realities of Blind Abilities.”

The RNIB, the national blind organisation in the UK, has their own radio station RNIB Connect Radio. You can also listen to their radio shows as podcasts. With shows spanding from Tech Talk and Connect to Sport, Conversations and Read On, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re interested in assistive technology, books or personal stories.
